Why will Dublin Archdiocese not publish, in English, what Archbishop Martin said in Italian?

A spokesman for Dublin Archdiocese is reported to have said that the Diocese will not publish in English what Archbishop Martin said in the address referred to in my previous post (above).
Other reports of the address indicate that Dr. Martin was his usually blunt self and was quite scathing in his trenchant , arrogant, or condescending, views of the quality or otherwise of the intellectual ability of the Irish people. Indeed I consider he was quite insulting, if Radio (RTE) reports are to be believed. Maybe Dr. Martin should remember a dictum of one of his predecessors - Archbishop McQuaid who said "there is no doctrine of the Catholic Church that is meant only for an elite".
Dr. Martin should be prepared to stand over his views in any language! The excuse used by his spokesperson that "they have no resources to translate it" rings hollow. When one of my nephews wanted his Italian girlfriend to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, an Auxiliary Bishop in Dublin very kindly arranged for a priest of the Diocese, who was fluent in Italian, to give the necessary instructions and preparation course.
Is the Archbishop afraid to be challenged, as he undoubtedly would be, if his address was published in English. Or is this but another quite common example of Bishops speaking a language not understood by most of their flock?
